A New York man who allegedly earned $470,000 selling motorcycles on e-Bay was charged with workers' compensation fraud for failing to report the income, the New York State Insurance Fund said in a press release Thursday.
The Queens District Attorney's Office alleges that Robert Fili, while receiving $29,840 in benefits for a job related injury, allegedly was engaged in selling chopped and altered expensive motorcycles on e-Bay, where he made over $470,000. While pursing his online business, Mr. Fili returned several forms to NYSIF, denying any work activity.
