FL Woman Not Guilty of WC Fraud says Jury

The Stuart News in Florida reported a story contrary to the usual fraud cases – a jury's finding of innocence of a suspended school district secretary against charges of filing a fraudulent workers compensation claim. The St. Lucie, FL jury deliberated for almost two days before acquitting Delores Faniel, 47, of the charges. Faniel, a 29-year school district employee, was in a fight on April 21, 2001 co-worker Terry Hodge over a personnel file in the school district's transportation office.
