Missouri Employers Mutual Reducing Rates 5%

Missouri Employers Mutual is reducing rates by an average of 5% on Jan. 1, the company announced Monday. MEM is the state's largest workers' compensation carrier, insuring more than 17,000 Missouri employers. The two major factors driving MEM's rate decrease are the company's performance and the anticipated positive impact of the workers compensation law changes on the cost of insurance.
