Academy Honors Kansas Actuary Larry Bruning

Larry Bruning, chief actuary for the Kansas Insurance Department, has been elected and installed as a director of the American Academy of Actuaries. Bruning, with 29 years of experience as an actuary, was seated as a director Oct. 3 during the academy's annual meeting in Washington, D.C. He has been with the insurance department since 2003.
