State College Entitled to Pension Contribution Offset

A state university is entitled to an offset of a workers' compensation award after demonstrating it funded a claimant's defined benefit pension plan, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court ruled. The court granted the offset to Penn State University under Section 204(a) of the Workers' Compensation Act The case was Pennsylvania State University v. WCAB, 922 C.D. 2007, 10/26/2007.
