California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner on Wednesday announced the appointment of five new top officials, but left in place nine managers appointed by his predecessors.
Poizner, one of only two Republicans holding statewide office in California, created an executive team with eight Democrats, five Republicans and one official with no party preference.
