The Alliance of American Insurers has mixed feelings about the latest revised privacy regulation released by the California Department of Insurance.
"While the California Department has taken some positive steps to make its privacy regulation more workable, it is still proposing a regulation that conflicts with both the Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act and existing California law," said Rey Becker, vice president of property/casualty for the Alliance.
