Allmerica Financial Corporation (NYSE: AFC - News) yesterday reported net income for the fourth quarter of $63.1 million, or $1.18 per share, compared to net income of $14.0 million, or $0.26 per share in the fourth quarter of last year. For the full year, the company reported net income of $125.3 million, or $2.34 per share, compared to net income of $86.9 million, or $1.63 per share in 2003.
