The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has ruled, in a case of first impression, that a pretrial detainee, injured while working in prison, is limited to remedies under the Inmate Compensation Program, 18 U.S.C. 4126(c).The case is Paschal vs. United States, 2002 USCA 7th (9/11/02, No. 02-2005).
