Probe Called Over City Retirees' Disabilities

The San Diego city attorney has called for an investigation into a higher-than-average number of city employees who've retired with disability pay, according to a local TV station. A newly released report about the city of San Diego's depleted pension fund found that nearly 20% of the city's retirees left their employment while on disability. That number includes 40% of public safety officers who retired and continued to receive injury pay, according to the NBC affiliate in San Diego.
