Calif. Republicans Retain Control of Comp

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the champion of California workers' compensation reform, now has a fellow Republican sharing in the administrative oversight of the system. Californians chose Republican Steve Poizner over Democrat Cruz Bustamante in a 50.6% to 38.9% vote on Tuesday. Poizner will replace John Garamendi, a Democrat who was elected lieutenant governor.
