Fewer Oklahomans suffered on-the-job injuries last year according to a report released today by the Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL). The drop continues the steady decline in workplace accidents since Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau Wynn took office in 1995.
The 2001state workplace injury and illness rate of 6.5 per 100 full-time workers is the lowest since ODOL began collecting data for the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 1983.
