US DOL Opens Investigation of Marsh

The Department of Labor on Monday served Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. (MMC) with a subpoena requesting documents pertaining to employee benefit plans, Business Insurance reported yesterday. MMC revealed the subpoena in its 2005 annual report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday. The annual report disclosed five separate requests for documents and information pertaining to a variety of matters.
