Helios Study Touts Drug Testing, but Experts Warn of another Cost Driver

While the U.S. engages in a broad effort to reduce opioid prescriptions, new research suggests that workers’ compensation payers can reduce drug costs after drugs are prescribed. Helios, a pharmacy benefit management company, announced the results Tuesday of several studies examining the impact of its four-year-old Drug Testing and Monitoring program.
