Insurers, Regulators Stymied by Federal Law on Air Ambulance Service

Despite a defeat in Congress of an amendment that would have given states greater control over fees charged by air ambulance companies, a group of state legislators and regulators who met this summer have renewed their determination to tackle the issue.
