A company in Little Rock, Arkansas, has developed a card-based payment system that tracks spending of a claimant’s Medicare set aside settlement funds to help ensure the money is spent properly.
DataPath announced the launch of its system, called the Reliance Card, on Wednesday.
The card gives MSA recipients access to funds and network discounts while helping carriers and pharmacy benefit managers monitor use of the money, the company said. The system is customizable to be more flexible or restrictive depending on the situation.
