Athens Administrators Names Vice President of Texas Workers’ Compensation
TEXAS – Athens Administrators, a recognized leader in third-party claims administration services, welcomes industry veteran Jacob Romero as their new Vice President of Texas Workers’ Compensation.
Jacob joins Athens with over 15 years of multi-jurisdictional workers compensation claims and risk management experience. Originally from Texas himself, Jacob is excited to be continuing his career at Athens Administrators. Jacob brings a hands-on experience in Texas Claims, previously serving as the Claims Director for PMA Companies out of Irving, TX and prior to that the Senior Corporate Insurance and Risk Manager for LSG Group out of Irving, TX. “I am thrilled to be part of the Athens team,” says Jacob. “My entire career has been spent in the work comp industry, and I look forward to continuing that tradition by providing a high level of service to current and potential clients in the great state of Texas." With a strong familiarity of the Texas Workers’ Compensation landscape, Romero will focus on building Athens’ Texas footprint while providing client focused, cost-effective claims administration solutions to business throughout Texas.
Jacob received his bachelor’s degree from Ausburg University in Minneapolis, MN and holds his Texas Adjusters License, Arkansas Adjusters License, Arizona Adjusters License and Oklahoma Adjusters License.
