Mitchell Acquires PBM Cogent Works

Mitchell, a company that provides property and casualty insurance claim-processing technology, has acquired pharmacy network and benefit management firm Cogent Works. Cogent maintains a network of 60,000 retail pharmacy locations in the U.S. and operates the pharmacy benefit management subsidiary CompToday, according to a Tuesday press release. Cogent also owns a PBM for the automotive industry, AutoRx.
