The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted fast-track designation for tanezumab, a medication for the treatment of patients with chronic low back pain or osteoarthritis. The FDA’s fast-track designation is intended to speed the review of new therapies to treat serious conditions and fill unmet medical needs.
