The California Division of Workers’ Compensation posted an order adjusting the pathology and clinical laboratory section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to incorporate changes in the Medicare payment system.
The division adopted Medicare’s 2024 annual update to its pathology and clinical laboratory fee schedule. The division also said the order continues the use of prices for two COVID-19 testing codes at 120% of the rate established by the California Medicare Administrative Contractor.
