Committee Passes 9/11 Worker Presumption Measure

A New Jersey Senate committee on Thursday passed a bill that would create a presumption that any injury, illness or death is compensable for public safety workers who participated in the response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, under certain conditions. The Senate Labor Committee voted 5-0 to pass S 2965, by Sen. Joe Lagana, D-Paramus.
