Federal health and safety officials are again warning that counterfeit respirators are on the market and may not provide adequate protection against dust and the coronavirus.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention posted information last week, noting that a number of respirators and masks are available that are knock-offs and have not been approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
