The head of Florida's second-largest school district said he's not too concerned about a potential spike in COVID-19 workers' compensation claims after hundreds of teachers returned to classrooms.
“The district is fully aware of its responsibilities under Florida workers' compensation law,” Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie wrote in a letter this week to a claimants' attorney.
