Third Coast Underwriters Expanding to Florida, Wisconsin

Third Coast Underwriters announced Friday that it will offer workers' compensation insurance in Florida and Wisconsin, expanding its coverage to 21 states.

The carrier said Mike Valiante, vice president of Business Development, Underwriting and Data Analytics, will lead efforts to appoint agents and identify qualified customers in the new areas.

Third Coast Underwriters, which launched 11 years ago, surpassed $100 million in written premium for the first time in 2019.

Third Coast Underwriters is a member of AF Group. Insurance policies may be issued by any of companies within the group, including Accident Fund Insurance Co. of America, Accident Fund National Insurance Co., Accident Fund General Insurance Co., United Wisconsin Insurance Co, Third Coast Insurance Co. or CompWest Insurance Co.
