Employers Holdings Inc. on Tuesday notified the Securities and Exchange Commission that President and CEO Douglas Dirks told the board of directors he plans to retire April 1, 2021.
Dirks has been with Employers Holdings for as long as the company has existed, and the chairman of the board said he’s viewed by some as the company’s founder.
