The Florida Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) is proposing to reduce the penalties imposed on self-insurers who file late forms and reports.Florida Rule 69L-5.217 now imposes a fine of $200 per day for filings that are more than 60 days late, up to a maximum of $5,000 for any single report, form or document.The rules change would reduce the daily fine for filings more than 60 days late to $100.DWC will hold a hearing on the rules change beginning at 9:30 a.m. (EDT) on June 19 in Room 102 of the Hartman Building at 2012 Capital Circle S.E. in Tallahassee.The meeting notice is here.Sou...
