NCCI Revises Oil Field Classification After TMI Concerns

A rating organization has made changes to proposed revisions in oil and gas worker classifications after the largest comp carrier in Texas raised concerns. Stakeholders now have until Dec. 9 to comment on the revised filing, B-1438, regarding class code descriptions on flowback services and drill site preparation, the Texas Department of Insurance said in a notice Monday.
