Hub International Acquires Sweet & Baker Agency

Hub International Ltd. has acquired San Francisco-based Sweet & Baker Insurance Brokers Inc., the company announced on Tuesday. Sweet & Baker President Bruce Callander will join Hub California and report to President Kirk Christ. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sweet & Baker sells personal, life and health, and commercial insurance, including workers’ compensation coverage, throughout the greater Bay Area and Silicon Valley.
