Bill Allowing Employers to Post Notices Online Heads to Governor

A bill that would allow Ohio employers to post certain workplace notices on their company websites is heading to the governor. Employers in Ohio are required to post in the place of employment notices about workers’ compensation rights, prevailing wage laws, minimum wage and civil rights. Senate Bill 33, by Sen. Steve Wilson, R-Maineville, would allow employers to satisfy the requirement to provide the information to workers by posting it on the internet in a manner that is accessible to employees.
