Workers with moderate to severe sleep apnea are more likely to be injured on the job than those without sleep disorders, researchers at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, have found.
The study, focused on workers in blue-collar jobs, found that those with sleep apnea were almost twice as likely to be hurt at work as their peers, according to an article in MedPage Today.
