New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham appointed Tony Couture and David Skinner to serve as workers’ compensation judges for the Workers’ Compensation Administration.
The WCA said Couture and Skinner, who have both worked as judges before, will assume their positions Saturday.
Couture was initially hired as a WCA mediator in January 2017. At the time, he had spent 10 years in private law practice.
He was appointed WCA judge in August 2017 and continued serving in that position until late last year when he resigned to return to nursing.
