Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear on Tuesday signed an executive order shielding state residents from prosecution for the use of medical cannabis for certain medical conditions including chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder.
“Our citizens should not face criminal punishment for treating certain medical conditions with medical cannabis where the medical cannabis was legally purchased in another state,” the executive order says.
