Division of Workers’ Compensation officials said Friday they’re committed to overhauling California’s computer-based case management system that’s become a source of frustration since it was implemented more than a decade ago.
Administrative Director George Parisotto even joked Friday during a panel discussion that he’d offer a prize to anyone who could come up with a better name for the system, known as EAMS, which is short for Electronic Adjudication Management System.
