Man Sentenced to 27 Months for Comp Fraud, Tax Evasion Scheme

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida announced that a person who was living in the country illegally was sentenced to 27 months in prison for underreporting payroll to illegally reduce work comp premiums and avoid paying federal taxes. Pablo Isila Euceda-Hernandez, 36, was also ordered to pay $1.2 million in restitution to the Internal Revenue Services and forfeit $336,029 in proceeds from a wire fraud scheme.
