MedRisk to Host Webinar on Vertebrogenic Low Back Pain

MedRisk is hosting a free webinar March 24 to discuss a collaborative approach to treating chronic low back pain that focuses on combining physical therapy services with interventional pain management.

Dr. Thomas Gleason, from the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, will describe a minimally invasive procedure intended to address pain. Anne Marciniak, a physical therapist and National Director of Clinical Services for MedRisk, will discuss the type and timing of physical therapy needed to strengthen the spine after the procedure.

MedRisk said continuing education credits will be available for adjusters, registered nurses and case managers in several states.

The program, “The Cause, Diagnosis and Treatment of Vertebrogenic Low Back Pain,” is at 2:30 p.m. Eastern March 24.
