Drug Report Highlights Impact of Reductions in Opioid Prescribing

Topical drugs are among the most costly class in workers' compensation, and migraine medications are increasing by double digits in cost and utilization, according to a report released Thursday by Enlyte LLC. Enlyte, which provides comp services under several subsidiaries, examined prescription data for 2021 and 2022 and found minor changes in utilization, with some exceptions.
