OSHA Seeks Comments From Shipyard Workers

The federal workplace safety agency might update its shipyard safety standards, and it wants to hear from workers. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration seeks comments on fall protection, scaffolding and safe access to structures in shipyards. The submission deadline is Dec. 7. Workers can submit comments to the Federal eRulemaking Portal at www.regulations.gov or send comments by mail, fax or hand delivery to OSHA's Washington, D.C., office.
