Gov. J.B. Pritzker appointed Amylee Simonovich as a commissioner of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Simonovich, who was appointed Friday, is currently serving as a staff attorney for the commission.
Before that, she was an associate attorney at Ridge & Downes, where, among other things, she provided legal counsel on Illinois workers’ compensation and disability laws as well as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
