WCS Reminds Carriers, TPAs of 2024 Cost-of-Living Adjustment

The Nevada Workers’ Compensation Section reminds carriers and third-party administrators that cost-of-living adjustments should be applied to monthly benefit rates in January. Injured workers receiving permanent total disability benefits, and dependents receiving survivor benefits should receive a 2.3% increase in benefits. At the same time, the WCS said carriers can request reimbursement for cost-of-living adjustments paid in 2023.
