Farragut Systems Announces Partnership With Long Group Consultants

Farragut Systems and Long Group Consultants announced a partnership to develop and market products addressing growing requirements, complexities and costs of workers’ compensation statistical reporting.

The companies said in a statement that Farragut’s technical expertise and Long Group’s ability to partner with system providers will allow the partnership to create products that integrate seamlessly with carriers’ current operations.

Statistical reporting requirements have increased over the last five years, the companies said. During that time, data collection organizations including independent state rating bureaus and the National Council on Compensation Insurance have introduced new data calls, new data types and expanded data quality initiatives to gather more information more often and with more accuracy.

“As a result, workers’ compensation carriers have experienced a flurry of change, increase in costs and a new dimension to reporting: one of constant interaction,” the companies said.

Farragut is a workers’ compensation technology company headquartered in Durham, North Carolina.

Long Group Consultants, based in Gainesville, Georgia, is an outsourcing firm that focuses on providing statistical reporting services to work comp carriers.
