DWC Posts Adjustments to DMEPOS Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation posted an order adjusting the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule. To conform to the third-quarter changes in the Medicare payment system, the DWC is adopting Medicare’s revised rural ZIP code file for services provided on or after July 1. The DWC said there were no changes to Medicare’s durable medical equipment file or the parenteral/enteral-nutrition file.
