The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division proposed rules to implement bills enacted this year.
Proposed rules that will be the subject of an Oct. 24 hearing cover medical payments, medical services and managed care organizations. The rules are intended to implement HB 3412, which increases the time a physician assistant can be an attending physician, and HB 2696, which requires that sign language interpreters receive a license from the Health Licensing Office.
