The trial in a lawsuit in which OptumRx is accused of overcharging the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for prescription drugs was postponed to Nov. 1, 2021, according to a report by the Ohio Capital Journal.
Trial was originally scheduled to start in March 2020, according to the Journal.
The BWC in March 2019 filed a complaint alleging Optum overcharged it by $16 million between 2015 and 2019.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost reportedly hinted at additional lawsuits against other pharmacy benefit managers.
A spokesperson for Optum in February said the BWC’s allegations are without merit.
