The Maryland Senate unanimously passed bills that would allow the Workers' Compensation Commission to increase Uninsured Employers' Fund assessments and require the Injured Workers’ Insurance Fund to administer claims for state employees.
The Senate on Wednesday voted 47-0 to pass SB 8, by the Senate Finance Committee, which would modify assessments for the Uninsured Employers' Fund.
