Virginia Updates EDI Conversion

The Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission (WCC) has updated its Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementation guide and posted a series of related materials aimed at meeting requirements that the filing of First Reports of Injury and Subsequent Reports of Injury be entirely electronic by July 1, 2009.In the guide, the agency said its efforts to launch an electronic filing system began in 2006.
