Bills to Limit Opioid Prescribing Advance as Concerns Linger

Legislation that would impose a three-day opioid prescribing limit for treatment of acute pain is moving forward in the Florida Legislature, despite concerns that it doesn’t give doctors enough flexibility to treat patients with a traumatic injury or who are undergoing a major surgery.
