Eight challenges to 2018 reform provisions are now pending before the Kentucky Supreme Court.
All of the cases focus on one of the most contentious parts of HB 2, a retroactive provision that terminates permanent disability benefits when a claimant turns 70, or four years after the injury, whichever comes later.
