Worker at MMI Can No Longer Receive Temporary Disability Benefits

The Connecticut Appellate Court ruled that an injured worker who reached maximum medical improvement could no longer receive temporary disability benefits, as a matter of law. Beulah Gardner worked for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She injured her left wrist at work in April 2016. The department accepted the injury as compensable.
