City Councilman Concerned about Lack of Safety Training

A city councilman in Decatur, Alabama, says city departments are not following safety training guidelines recommended by the entity that provides the city with workers’ compensation coverage, according to WAFF-TV. The city takes a 10% discount on what it pays the Municipal Workers’ Compensation Fund for its coverage, which saves the city about $25,000 per year.
