Signal Administration Appoints Carole V. Kirk as CFO

Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act benefits provider Signal Administration appointed Carole V. Kirk chief financial officer.

Kirk, an experienced finance executive with leading special global property and casualty insurance and reinsurance companies, joined Signal on Friday. She reports to Richard W. Wood, president and CEO of Signal Administration.

Kirk has more than 30 years of experience in financial management oversight and directing strategic global business project initiatives in her various leadership roles within the insurance and reinsurance industries, Signal said in a statement. She has firsthand knowledge working with the Lloyd’s of London market and European-based companies.

Most recently, she served for six years as senior vice president, chief accounting officer and group controller of The Navigators Group, prior to its acquisition by The Hartford.

Kirk’s experience spans all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting, including investment strategy, SEC and local financial reporting, audit reviews and assessments, and annual and actual budgeting projections.
